Description

The castle nut is a replacement part for HAHN and PEITZ axles. As an axle nut it secures the wheel hub on the stub axle; a split pin through the castellations and the cross hole prevents it from loosening.

Before ordering, compare the thread and the across-flats size with the removed nut. Set the bearing play as specified by the axle manufacturer and always secure the nut with a new split pin.
