Description

The AL-KO castle nut is an axle nut that holds the wheel hub on the stub axle and sets the bearing play.

It is secured with a split pin passed through one of the castellations and the hole in the stub axle. For adjustment, the nut is tightened and then backed off to the next slot that lines up with the hole. The split pin is renewed every time the nut is removed.
