Description

The shaft seal is a replacement part for SCHLEGL braked axles of the SGB series with tapered roller bearings. It sits in the wheel hub, protects the bearings from dirt and moisture and keeps the grease in the hub.

The version with tapered roller bearings is decisive; with a different bearing arrangement, compare the removed ring. On installation, align the sealing lip towards the bearing and press the ring in evenly. The ring is renewed after the hub has been removed.
