Description
The shaft seal is a replacement part for PEITZ wheel hubs. It seals the wheel bearing between stub axle and hub, keeping grease in the bearing and dirt and water out.
On PEITZ hubs, rings with a smaller shaft diameter can also run in the same hub seat. Before ordering, therefore measure the stub axle diameter at the seal seat rather than only comparing the outer diameter. The fitting width requires a correspondingly deep seal chamber in the hub.
