Description

The shaft seal seals the wheel hub on AL-KO wheel brakes of types 1636, 1637 and 1640 and on unbraked axles. It keeps the grease in the wheel bearing and protects the bearing from water and dirt.

Before ordering, measure the inner and outer diameter and the width of the removed ring. On installation, the sealing lip faces the bearing; the ring is pressed squarely into the hub bore without tilting. Always renew the ring after removing the hub.
