Description

The KNOTT shaft seal seals the wheel hub or axle. It keeps dirt and water away from the bearing and the lubricant inside it.

For selection, the inner diameter, outer diameter and width of the old seal are measured; the dimensions are often also marked on the face. A seal that has been removed is not reused. When pressing it in, the seal is set straight and the sealing lip is lightly greased.
