Description

This toothed segment is a replacement part for the handbrake lever of PEITZ overrun couplings AER, AEV and AEZ. When applied, the lever engages in the teeth and thus secures the parking brake.

If the lever no longer holds reliably in the applied position, the segment or pawl is usually worn; check both parts for rounded or broken teeth. After replacement, test the parking brake on the parked trailer.
