Push rod for handbrake lever
The push rod connects the handbrake lever to the brake mechanism and transmits the actuating force when the parking brake is applied.
It is replaced when the rod is bent or the bearing points are worn. For selection, the length, bores and connection type should be measured on the old part; assignment is made via the manufacturer number of the overrun coupling. After installation, the brake system should be adjusted and the effect of the parking brake checked.
