Description

The tension spring is a replacement part for the PEITZ wheel brake S 234 R. Together with the other springs of the brake, it returns the brake shoes to their initial position after braking.

A stretched or broken spring causes the linings to drag on the drum and the brake to run hot. Check the springs when changing the linings and, if worn, replace them on both wheels of the axle. Adjust the brake after fitting.
