Description

The short KNOTT tension spring is a single part from spring set 90170. In the wheel brake, it pulls the brake shoes back from the drum after braking so that the linings run free.

Overstretched, corroded or broken springs cause the shoes to drag and result in uneven braking. When changing the linings, check the springs of both brakes on an axle and replace them together if necessary. Do not mix up the short and long springs of the set when fitting.
