Description

Ring spring for the 1636G wheel brake. After the brake is released, the spring pulls the brake shoes back into their initial position so that they do not drag on the drum.

Fatigued springs can lead to dragging shoes and uneven lining wear. During an overhaul, renew the springs of both wheel brakes on one axle together and then readjust the braking system.
