Description

The long KNOTT tension spring is a single replacement part for spring set 90170. It returns the brake shoes to their initial position after braking and ensures that the brake releases evenly.

If the brake drags after release or the combination pulls to one side, a weakened or broken spring may be the cause. Always check the springs when changing the linings; do not confuse the long version with the short spring of the same set.
