Description

The hold-down spring is a spare part for the PEITZ wheel brakes R 234-76 and R 205-83 and the WAP wheel brakes W 184 to W 235 RS. It holds the brake shoes in position on the brake back plate.

Fatigued springs let the shoes rattle and bear unevenly. When changing the linings, therefore renew the hold-down springs on both sides of the axle and then adjust the brake.
