Description

The compression spring is a spare part for the brake mechanism in wheel brakes. It fits KNOTT wheel brakes of types 20-964, 20-966, 20-2426 and 20-2425/1, BPW S 2005-5 RASK and SCHLEGL 520.

As a single part from the corresponding spring set, it replaces a broken or fatigued spring without the complete set having to be changed. If the spring force decreases, the brake mechanism no longer returns cleanly. During the repair, the springs of both wheel brakes on an axle should be checked.
