Description

The BPW tension spring holds the brake shoes of BPW wheel brakes of the -7 series in position inside the brake drum and maintains the contact pressure. It is used in trailers, commercial vehicles and semi-trailers with BPW brakes.

A fatigued spring can lead to uneven braking, squealing and increased wear on other brake parts. Renew the springs together with the brake shoes and replace them on both wheel brakes of an axle at the same time.
