Description

The split pin to DIN 94 secures castle nuts, bolts and axles against loosening, for example on wheel hubs, brake rods or pivot bolts of trailers.

The split pin should largely fill the cross hole without being driven in by force. After insertion, bend the longer leg over the end of the bolt or the nut and bend the shorter one sideways. A split pin that has been bent open is not reused.
