Description

The KNOTT expander sits in the KNOTT drum brake and transmits the actuating force to the brake shoes. It fits the KNOTT 16-1369/1 and 16-1365 wheel brakes.

A stiff or worn expander leads to uneven braking. When fitting, apply a thin coat of heat-resistant brake grease to the sliding surfaces, keep grease away from the brake linings and adjust the brakes on both sides after assembly.
