Description

Adjusting bolt as a spare part to fit the PEITZ R 234-76/205-83 and WAP W 234/235 RS wheel brakes. It is part of the drum brake adjuster, which compensates for the gap between brake shoes and drum as the linings wear.

A seized or damaged adjusting bolt prevents correct adjustment. After replacement, readjust the wheel brake and then check the brake rod. Always adjust the brakes on one axle evenly.
