Description
The KNOTT brake drum is designed as a replacement for trailers with an AVONRIDE wheel brake. The 8-inch drum runs on two tapered roller bearings, one metric and one imperial; the bearing set is included.
When swapping it for a different 8-inch drum, the overall height should be compared, as it determines how far the hub extends over the stub axle. The bearing play is set via the axle nut during installation. Brake drums on one axle are replaced in pairs.
