Description

The KNOTT brake drum is a spare part for AVONRIDE trailer axles with 200 x 50 wheel brake. The drum is designed for a bearing arrangement with tapered roller bearings.

When the drum is changed, the tapered roller bearings including outer races and the shaft seal are usually renewed as well. Bearing play is adjusted via the axle nut, and the nut is then secured. The brake drums on an axle are replaced together.
