Description

The KNOTT brake drum is a spare part for the KNOTT wheel brakes 20-965/1, 20-963/1, 20-966/1 and 20-964/1 on car trailers and caravans. It takes two tapered roller bearings.

When the drum is changed, the tapered roller bearings including outer races and the shaft seal are usually renewed as well. Bearing play is adjusted via the castle nut, which is then secured with a split pin. The drums on an axle are replaced together.
