Description

AL-KO brake drum for wheel brakes with tapered roller bearings, available for the wheel brakes 1637, 2035 and 2361. The drum provides the friction surface for the brake shoes and houses the wheel bearings.

Selection is based on the wheel brake type designation on the brake back plate. With tapered roller bearings, the bearing play is set via the axle nut after fitting, and a new shaft seal is installed.

Brake drums are replaced on both sides of an axle so that braking remains even on the left and right. After installation, the brake system is readjusted.
