Description

Brake drum as a replacement for the PEITZ wheel brakes R 234-76 and S 234 R. The drum provides the friction surface for the brake shoes and carries the wheel via the PCD.

Drums of the same size with a different PCD exist for these wheel brakes; the PCD of the old part is decisive. Tapered roller bearings and shaft seal are not included; after fitting, the bearing play is set via the axle nut.

Brake drums are replaced on both sides of an axle so that braking remains even on the left and right. After installation, the brake system is readjusted.
