Description
Brake drum as a replacement for PEITZ wheel brakes with tapered roller bearings, available in several brake sizes, PCDs and overall heights.
For selection, the brake size, PCD, overall height and bearing pairing of the removed drum are compared. The tapered roller bearings are not included; after fitting, the bearing play is set via the axle nut and a new shaft seal is installed.
Brake drums are replaced on both sides of an axle so that braking remains even on the left and right. After installation, the brake system is readjusted.
