Description
Brake drum as a replacement for PEITZ wheel brakes with tapered roller bearings. The wheel studs are already fitted.
PEITZ wheel brakes use drums of the same size with a different overall height and other bearing seats; before ordering, overall height and bearing pairing are compared with the old part. With tapered roller bearings, the bearing play is set via the axle nut after fitting, and a new shaft seal is installed.
Brake drums are replaced on both sides of an axle so that braking remains even on the left and right. After installation, the brake system is readjusted.
