Description

AL-KO brake drum as a replacement for BPW S 3006-7 wheel brakes on axles with tapered roller bearings. Drum and wheel hub form a single component here: it carries the wheel bearings, takes the wheel and provides the friction surface for the brake shoes.

The bearings are not included. Check existing tapered roller bearings before reuse, renew the shaft seal and set the bearing play to the axle manufacturer's specification. Replace the brake drums of one axle in pairs and readjust the brake afterwards.
