Description

AL-KO brake drum for the 1637 wheel brake, supplied with a fitted compact bearing. The drum serves as both wheel hub and braking surface and is bolted to the wheel with four wheel studs.

As drums for the 1637 exist with compact bearings and with tapered roller bearings, check on the grease cap and stub axle which bearing type is fitted before ordering. Replace the axle nut with a new one when fitting and tighten it to the specified torque. Readjust the brake after replacing the drum.
