Description

AL-KO brake drum for the 1636, 1637 and 1640 wheel brakes on axles with tapered roller bearings and four-stud wheel fixing. The drum is designed for brake shoe widths of 35 and 40 mm.

It is supplied with a bearing set of inch-size tapered roller bearings; metric bearings do not fit these bearing seats. When fitting, set the bearing play to the manufacturer's specification and renew the shaft seal. Replace the drums of one axle in pairs and readjust the brake afterwards.
