Description

The SCHLEGL cone nut has a tapered seat that centres itself in the mating part. It is used to fasten brake cables and brake rods in the trailer brake system.

When replacing, make sure the thread matches and the cone surface on the mating part is undamaged. After fastening the brake cable or rod, adjust the brake system and secure the nut against loosening if a locking device is provided.
