Description
The cone nut is a nut with a conical seat used in the trailer brake for fastening and guiding brake cables, Bowden cables and brake rods. The conical face centres the nut in its counterpart seat.
When replacing, make sure the cone shape and height match the old part, as otherwise the seating and adjustment of the brake transmission will not be correct. After work on the brake transmission, check the adjustment of the brake system.
