Description
The KNOTT brake cable with blue sleeve is the rust-free stainless steel version of the Bowden cables for KNOTT wheel brakes. It is used on boat trailers and winter service vehicles, where water and salt attack conventional cables.
On the brake side, the cable nipple sits in the wheel brake and the sleeve is supported by the bell. The threaded end of the cable is screwed to the compensating bar and adjusted with a nut.
Cables with a mushroom head or eye are not interchangeable; when replacing, both cable connections should therefore be checked in addition to the lengths.
