Description
The KNOTT stainless steel brake cable is a Bowden cable for KNOTT wheel brakes. It transmits the pulling force from the compensating bar to the brake lever in the wheel brake.
The cable nipple sits at the wheel brake, where the sleeve is supported by the bell. At the other end, the mushroom head is hooked into the compensating bar without a spherical nut, and the sleeve is screwed in place. The rust-free version is intended for trailers that are frequently exposed to wet conditions and road salt.
When replacing, the sleeve length and total length of the old cable should be measured and the connections compared.
