Description

AL-KO brake cable in the Longlife version with red sleeve; the cable ends in a slotted eye and a thread. It transmits the pulling force from the brake rod to the wheel brake.

On the sleeve side there is a collar, which is inserted into slotted sheet-metal mountings, and a connecting thread. The combination of thread and slotted eye distinguishes this cable from the variants with nipple or mushroom head.

Measure the sleeve and cable length (HL/SL) on the removed cable; the eye cannot be crimped on afterwards, so the length must be correct.
