Description

The BPW breakaway cable applies the handbrake of the overrun coupling if the trailer becomes detached. The loop is fastened around the ball neck or to an eye, and the snap hook engages the brake lever.

The short version is intended for units whose cable guide sits close behind the coupling. Before every journey, check that the cable is correctly attached and can hang freely; replace a damaged cable immediately.
