Description

Breakaway cable for braked trailers with overrun brake. If the trailer separates unintentionally from the towing vehicle, the cable pulls the handbrake and brakes the trailer.

The snap hook is attached to the towing vehicle, the ring to the handbrake lever. The cable is available in several lengths.

To select the right one, measure the distance from the handbrake lever to the attachment point on the towing vehicle. The cable must not tighten when cornering and must not drag on the ground.
