Description

AL-KO breakaway cable for braked trailers: if the trailer separates from the towing vehicle while driving, the cable pulls the handbrake lever on the overrun coupling and thus initiates emergency braking.

The snap hook is attached to the towing vehicle, the eye sits on the handbrake lever. The PVC sheath encloses the wire rope.

Route the cable so that it does not tighten when cornering and does not drag on the road. Before every journey, check that the snap hook is closed and attached.
