Description
Breakaway cable as a safety connection between a braked trailer and the towing vehicle. If the trailer comes loose while driving, the cable actuates the trailer brake.
One end has a snap hook, the other a clevis. Before buying, check that the connection point on the trailer is designed for a clevis.
The cable length must allow for cornering without the cable tightening or dragging on the ground.
